Constituted of a pewter platter on the top of a wood furniture, the pewter bar top will take the popular name « Zinc ». One can find them in neighborhood bistros, corner brasseries, wine bars and restaurants, hotel, cafés.
A “Zinc” is the principal element that gives each place its unique atmosphere. Here are some examples of our creations of pewter bar tops around the world.

For restaurant and hotel professionals

Ateliers Nectoux make pewter bar tops. We make each bar top to measure according to the drawings given by our clients.
Our team can also take the measures and install a bar top according to each client’s demand and his geographic location. The bottom of the furniture is made by other artisans. Ateliers Nectoux may advise professionals with whom we are used to work.

For private individuals

Ateliers Nectoux propose restored vintage bars as well. We shop old 1900-1930 style top bars that we entirely restore. We then add a pewter top to present a « unique and authentic piece ». The choice of the pewter edge profile is paramount according to the style and the period of bar.

For private individuals, we also accomplish made-to-measure bars (including the wood bottom furniture) according to the client’s expectations and taste. We then fabricate the top in a modern style (for example edge profile N°103) or of a past era (Edge Profile N°21) Everything is made-to-measure in our Workshop in Dax thanks to our exceptional know-how.
We also help private individuals to change the top of their « Zinc » bar and give it character. We also make a pewter top on an existing piece of furniture (chest of drawers, table, etc…) Everything is possible, everything is tailormade!!!
