How famous are the Ateliers Nectoux in France?

The Ateliers Nectoux are one of the last artisans to fabricate pewter bars.

For more than 90 years, we have become the reference in the tricolor bistronomie. The Zincs characterise the French know-how. We find them in small close cafés as well as in smart and starred chefs’ facilities. It is always a great honor to be associated with Yves Camdeborde’s excellence « Avant Comptoir du marché, de la mer », Alain Ducasse’s « Le Café Alain Ducasse », Cyril Lignac’s « Le Chardenoux ». Pewter bars have grown beyond the warm world of the Bistro spirit to reach hotels, department stores, luxury shops (Blancpain watches) to offer a privileged and timeless setting: the 9 meter tables of Café Coutume billow under the famous dome of the Galeries Lafayette with beautiful 20 meter bar top with a pure line thanks to its N°19 edge profile.

The Ateliers Nectoux have also chosen to restore a XXth century bar for the 2019 G7 in Biarritz: The leaders from the most powerful economies have enjoyed a coffee on this Nectoux bar!

In France, the longest bar top of 2×22 meters (U shaped bar) is at Bugsy’s (N°23 edge profile).
The Brébant, opened in 1981, is really worth a look with it N°06 edge profile (13.5cm).
Neighborhood bistros, grand boulevards brasseries, corner restaurants, wine bars, our Provinces cafés, we have all these life places in our veins.
